Past HPV Infections and Pregnancy
If you were infected with HPV and it got better, either with or without treatment, it is unlikely that symptoms will return during pregnancy. However, the virus can cause tissue changes to occur more rapidly during pregnancy.

The good news is HPV during pregnancy does not increases the risk for miscarriage, preterm delivery, or other pregnancy complications. Thus, HPV is not routinely tested for during pregnancy. However, an HPV diagnosis can be made during pregnancy because of genital warts or an abnormal Pap smear.

If HPV is diagnosed because of an abnormal Pap smear, the healthcare provider may recommend a colposcopy. If there is no evidence of cancer, the healthcare provider will usually recommend waiting until after pregnancy to treat the abnormal cells.

For women who have genital warts, the healthcare provider will also monitor the situation, as warts often get better on their own or soon after delivery. For more treatment management:

Disturbing Wart Like Acne
What You Can Do to Help

Image/Video

Molluscum Contagiosum: is a common viral infection of the skin that is characterized by round, firm, or painless bumps. Scratched bumps can spread infection to surrounding skin. The condition spreads through contact with an infected person or a contaminated object.  Common in children however adults are also affected. In adults, molluscum contagiosum is common in genitals area and is causative of disturbing genital wart which is considered a sexually transmitted infection. The bumps may disappear within a year without treatment but medication may be  recommended. Here is an affective simple treatment that can help.

Treatment: ALDARA from your local pharmacy.

1.Apply 3 times per week (such as Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) for no longer than 16 weeks.

2. Apply the cream from one Aldara packet to the treatment area, and rub in the cream until it disappears.

3. Do not cover the treated skin areas with any type of plastic bandaging, and avoid nylon underwear.

4. You may wear cotton gauze or underwear over the treated area.

5. Use the medicine before going to bed and leave it on for 6 to 10 hours. Then wash off the medicine with water and a mild soap.

6.  When treating genital warts around the vagina, avoid getting the cream on the more sensitive inner layers of vaginal tissue. This could result in vaginal swelling or irritation and painful urination.

7. Aldara is not a cure for molluscum or genital warts and it may not keep you from spreading this condition to others through vaginal, anal, or oral sex. You may develop new lesions during treatment with Aldara.

8. For best results, keep using the medicine for the entire length of time as prescribed.

South Sudan: Koch County women determined to fight for political participation and representation

“What is it that men do that we supposedly cannot do? What we cannot do is to continue to suffer by the hands of men ten years after South Sudan gained independence. Independence was for everyone to enjoy, including women,” said Diew Dang Yuot, a Women’s League leader in Koch County, Unity State.

Speaking at a multi-stakeholder forum on women’s rights, peace and security jointly organized by the United Nations Mission in South Sudan and partners, Ms. Dang Yuot had a lot on her mind.

“We should use the laws of the land to find our space. If we are sidelined from employment opportunities because we are not educated, why are we not employed in positions that do not require education?”

Angela Nyadet Kheat, a trader and female youth representative, expressed strong views as well.

“Women have been used for a long period of time as slaves who are meant to remain at home as housewives,” she said. “When a woman wants to join the military or police force, men think that her motive is to prostitute herself. If it were not for our children, we would start another revolution.”

Gordon Gatkuoth Chuol, Executive Director for Koch County, defended his administration.

“We do respect women’s rights. In this county, we have a woman who is the head chief of a Payam (administrative division). There are also female representatives in all the courts that have been established in the county,” he stated.

Participating women were hardly satisfied with his answer, drawing attention to the peace agreement’s stipulation of women to be given 35 percent political representation.

“That’s not happening in Koch.  Here, women have zero percent representation, at all levels of governance,” said Diew Dang Yuot.

Some of those in attendance had drastic suggestions as to how to achieve the representation women are entitled to.

“My message to peace partners is that the next time you organize any kind of workshop, we will not participate if not at least 35 percent of those present are women. We will simply pull out,” said Angelina Nyadet, representing female youth.

The women were unanimous in their conclusion that the education of girls remains the passport to breaking barriers, reducing marginalization, and improving women’s representation and participation in the public sphere. They committed to sending their girls to school but demanded that local authorities provide necessary services and show the political will to include women at all levels of governance.

GETTING OVER JUDGMENT
AND FEAR

GETTING OVER JUDGMENT AND FEAR - Chinemeze Ehirim

Uncovering and revealing a real self begins with conquering fear and judgement. Everyone worries about what other people think of them, but it's important to keep in mind that their perceptions do not define who we are or how valuable we are. It's time to boldly accept your genuine self and throw off the chains of fear.

Developing self-acceptance and self-love is one practical strategy for overcoming fear and judgement. Recognise that you are attractive and unique in your own right, and that you don't need to prove your worth to others or follow social norms in order to be accepted. Accept and value the peculiarities, errors, and imperfections that make you completely you.

Surrounding oneself with a community that is upbeat and supportive is another effective tactic. Seek out like-minded people who promote personal development and celebrate diversity. Having supportive people around you will provide a secure environment where you can express yourself without worrying about being judged. Always keep in mind that people who genuinely care about you will accept and value you for who you are.

It's critical to confront negative self-talk and swap it out for positive, empowering statements. Every day, tell yourself that you deserve success, love, and respect.

Honour your successes, no matter how minor, and concentrate on your advantages. By changing the way you see things you can become stronger and self-assured, which will help you get over your fear of being judged.

Finally, it's critical to acknowledge that each person has a unique route and set of challenges. In the same way that you are discovering your own self, others are also pursuing their own journeys of self-awareness. You may make your surroundings more tolerant and caring for both yourself and people around you by practising empathy and understanding.

It's time to reveal your true self and come out from behind the curtain of fear and criticism. Celebrate your individuality, embrace your uniqueness, and let your true self to come through. You deserve to live a life that is authentically you; the world is waiting to see you as you truly are.

Where To Get The Best Deals on Eye Glasses
Online Stores with The Best Deals

Top 5 Online Stores
To Get Good Deals on Eyeglasses

1. Warby Parker

Warby Parker is probably one of the web’s most well known frame retailers. The company made waves when it launched, embodied the idea of what a good, problem-solving startup should be, and earned the loyalty of its customers by giving them the option to try multiple frames before they put their money down on the ones they’d want to keep. The service offers a wide selection of high-quality frames and styles, free shipping, and for every pair of glasses you buy, they donate a pair to someone who needs them but can’t afford them. Warby Parker’s story is compelling, and while their glasses may not be the cheapest on the block, they are some of the best.
Those of you who nominated Warby Parker highlighted their try-at-home program, where they’ll send up you to five different sets of frames, for free, for you to try out. You can wear them around for five days—get your friends’ opinions, and choose the ones you like the best. When you pick the ones you like, order them online with your prescription, and they’ll be sent right out to you.

2. Eye Buy Direct

If you’re walking the line between style savvy and budget buying, Eye Buy Direct is the retailer for you. They regularly offer steep discounts, buy-one-get-one-free sales, and other special savings on their massive selection of eyewear and frames. The company has interesting and unique frame options for men and women, prescription and nonprescription sunglasses, sport sunglasses, and even computer glasses designed to reduce glare. They also sell bifocal, progressive, and even Transitions lenses, so they can accommodate you regardless of your prescription or needs. These folks live on the notion that you don’t have to pay a ton of money for a pair (or several pairs) of great glasses.

3. Zenni Optical
Zenni Optical’s claim to fame are super-cheap frames and glasses. They have a solid frame selection of men’s and women’s glasses, and great styles too, but almost everyone who has anything to say about Zenni points to the fact that they offer great glasses super-cheap. So cheap, in fact, that you don’t have to worry too much if they’re lost, damaged, or destroyed. At the same time, that great price point comes with a caveat—you’re not exactly going to get heavy, sturdy frames here; you’re getting frames that can probably take a beating and keep going, but you’re getting drug-store-style plastic in those frames (of course, that’s not all they have, but those are their most affordable designs.) Even so, if budget is the most important thing for you, or you’re notoriously hard on glasses, you could do much worse than Zenni. Their online tools let you snap a photo of your face and see how their glasses will look on you before you buy, which is a nice bonus. Plus, they have a great selection of sunglasses.

4. Coastal/ClearlyContacts
Coastal, and their Canadian counterpart, ClearlyContacts, both turned up separately in the nominations round, but because they’re the same company, we opted to combine them. Coastal offers a massive selection of in-stock designer frames, and regularly runs promotions where your first pair of glasses or contacts from the company are completely free, or at least significantly discounted. Their prices are affordable—they’re not the cheapest in the roundup, but they’re also not the most expensive, and their prices are somewhat similar to what you’ll find at many brick and mortar glasses stores, without the hassle that comes with shopping at one. Coastal will also take care of your contacts needs if you prefer those, sell you sunglasses, and more, all with free shipping.

5. Goggles 4 U
Googles 4 U offers a wide variety of frames at pretty low prices, which is always good to see. They offer hundreds of styles and designer names to choose from, so how much you wind up spending will likely depend on the types of frames you select. If you go designer, expect to pay designer prices, but if you don’t need a name, you can get away with spending very little for a great pair of glasses here. The company offers prescription and designer styles for men and women and sunglasses, and you can spend hours just browsing the available frames. The site itself is a bit no-nonsense, which is just fine if you just want to buy some frames and be done with the process.
